TOP 10 BOYS TEAMS

#1) POTOSI (1) – WOW! First they score 17 points at their home meet and then they go down to the Chile Pepper meet and dominate The Woodlands (TX), a perennial national powerhouse. If you are a fan of cross country you should make the trek to Jefferson City just to watch these guys.

#6) ROCK BRIDGE (6) – Teams 5, 6 and 7 are very close and Rock Bridge is right there. Districts and Sectionals will tell us more.

#7) LIBERTY (8) – Second at Big 7's, they have the low stick up front in Ragland and a strong tradition of running well at the end of the season.

#8) MARQUETTE (9) – Survived a big test against Parkway South at Conference with a six point win.

#9) OAK PARK (NR) – Third at Big 7's, besting rival Blue Springs for that spot.

*** HONORABLE MENTION:

Blue Springs (5), Lee's Summit West (10), Lebanon (NR), Jefferson City (NR)

#11) Pat Cole, Fort Zumwalt South – Second at Conference to Rood and only 13 seconds back.

#12) Adam Behnke, JR, Lutheran South – Only two seconds back of Swearingen last time out, will he be able to break up a 1-2-3 sweep at Class 3 State?

#13) Stanton Ragland, JR, Liberty – Won the Big 7 meet by 11 seconds over rival Kevin Denny from LSN.

#14) Kevin Denny, Lee's Summit North – Continues to battle Ragland for Kansas City Area bragging rights. This time he was second to the Liberty Junior at Big 7's.

#15) Andrew Tobben, Borgia – We've had our eye on this guy for a few weeks now and a 16:11 win on the tough Big Driver course this weekend vaults him into the top 15.
