.............................................................TOP 10 BOYS TEAMS

#1) SLUH – The Junior Bills continued their undefeated season with a win in District 3.

#2) PARKWAY WEST - The Longhorns are one of the only teams to jump up this week. Awfully impressive win at District 2 without #2 man Jake Lamke. This is a group that can run with SLUH at the State Meet.

#3) LEE'S SUMMIT WEST – Twelve point win at District 7 over Rockhurst.

#4) WEST PLAINS – The Zizzers will be in action this weekend at Class 3 Districts.

#5) KICKAPOO - Scored a low 31 points at District 6 in Camdenton.

INDIVIDUAL RANKINGS
10.22.07

All season long (though maybe not as often as the team rankings) we will try to keep an eye out for the top 15 runners in the State. Again, these are the top 15 regardless of Class. It is a lot easier to miss a runner or two so we apologize if we shorted you or your teammate. Feel free to email us at info@bigriverrunning.com if you know someone who should be on the Big River Top 15. Enjoy!!

TOP 15 GIRLS

#1) Diane Robison, Parkway Central – District 3 Champ remains on top with another fast run.

#2) Natalie Todd, JR, Ladue – Chalk up another sub 19 for Todd, who won the Clayton Invitational this weekend.

#3) Aimee Bonte, SR, Rockwood Summit – Bonte scored a District Title at Big Driver over defending State Champ Hilary Orf.

#4) Courtney Wood, Neosho- Wood solidified her spot with a 19:15 win at District 6.

#5) Sarah White, FR, Potosi – White will run at Districts this Saturday.

#6) Lauren Borduin, SR, Rock Bridge - Borduin grabbed the District 4 Title with a 19:37.

#7) Michelle Hicks, Lebanon- Hicks finished six ticks back from Wood at District 6.

#8) Alyssa Allison, JR, Festus - Allison will be in action this weekend at Districts against White from Potosi, Blalock from Poplar Bluff and Hines from Cape Notre Dame.

#9) Hilary Orf, SR, Marquette - The defending State Champ looks to be rounding into form at the right time with a second place showing at District 2.

#10) Brittany Tate, JR, Lee's Summit West - Tate appeared in near top form at District 7 with a 28 second win over her teammate Johanna Kleinsasser.

#11) Chelsea Chrisman, JR, Eureka - Chrisman finished third at District 2 behind Bonte and Orf.

#12) Hannah Blalock, Poplar Bluff- Blalock will face off against White and Allison on Saturday as well as #15 Hines.

#13) Brittani Johnson, SR, West Plains - Johnson looks to continue moving her way up the rankings with a District showdown against Nixa's Liz Reida (coming off injury), Branson's Erin Huddleston and her West Plains teammate Dacey Mitchell. Reida and Mitchell are probably the first two girls to just miss the list this week.

#14) Erin Huddleston, JR, Branson - Branson will be in action in the tough Class 3 District Meet against the aforementioned trio of Reida, Johnson and Mitchell.

#15) Taylor Hynes, FR, Notre Dame DeSion - Hines will also get a chance to move up at her Class 3 District Meet this weekend.

TOP 15 BOYS

#1) Eric Fernandez, SR, Parkway West – Fernandez looked smooth and easy in his District win at Big Driver.

#2) Rick Elliot, SR, Kickapoo – Elliot adds another victory to his collection after his win at District 6.

#3) Adam Behnke, SR, Lutheran South – Behnke won the Affton Invite and will run Class 3 District 3 this weekend before one more big showdown with the Potosi boys at State.

#4) Jacob Swearingen, JR, Potosi– Swearingen and Niggeman will likely finish 1-2 this weekend at Districts before facing Behnke at State.

#5) Nick Niggeman, JR, Potosi – Niggeman beat Swearingen last time out so we will see if he can do it again at Districts.

#6) Matt Scwhab, SR, Francis Howell North – Schwab dipped under 16 minutes and was the District 5 Champ over his teammate Nick Happe.

#7) Phil Bascio, SR, CBC- Bascio was second to Fernandez in District 2.

#8) Phillip Palomino, JR, West Plains – Will be in action this Saturday at Districts before finally getting to see where he stacks up with Behnke and the Potosi boys at State.

#9) Stephen Saylor, JR, Raytown South – District 7 Champ, this guy has been solid every time out all year.

#10) Connor Callahan, JR, DeSmet - Callahan is on the rise in the rankings and for good reason. He went sub 16 in his District 3 win over Normandy's Darwin Price and Chaminade's Matt Estlund.

#11) Nick Happe, JR, Francis Howell North- Happe was second to his teammate Scwab at District 5 and has run very well all season.

#12) Darwin Price, SR, Normandy - Price is back in the rankings after finishing second to Behnke at Affton and second to Callahan at Districts.

#13) Matt Estlund, JR, Chaminade- Estlund was third at District 3 but pushed the pace much of the way.

#14) Danny Thater, SO, Kickapoo- Thater jumps back in to the rankings with a second place showing and a 16:06 at Districts. Follow this logic; Thater beat LSW's Kevin Colon by 16 seconds at the Cowboy Jamoboree. Colon beat Phillip Hickman at Districts and Hickman has been pretty much the equal of Oak Park's Hansen and Liberty's Ragland all year.

#15) Max Storms, JR, O'Hara- Storms dipped under 16 minutes to win the WCC Conference Meet at Longview.
