To enter the meet, follow these instructions:
1.) Go to http://theendresultco.com/xc/
2.) Coaches either log-in with your existing user name and password OR create a new account.
3.) Enter your roster and save changes - NOTE you are not done yet!
4.) Click link at the bottom of the page to return to main menu
5.) Find the 2014 Forest Park Cross Country Festival in the list of events and click the icon to enter meet
6.) Coaches will then choose which athletes will be participating. Once finished save changes and you are officially entered.
7.) Coaches should notice the entries icon (next to the meet name) increased with their entry.
8.) Coaches, please enter the junior high team SEPARATE from the high chool teams
and not together.

Online Entry deadline is Tuesday 9.9.14 at 10:59pm CST. There is a $100 fee for late entries. Payment is due BY MEET DAY and all payment info can be found on HERE.
*If you filled out our online interest sheet this summer please note that your team is not yet entered in the meet. You must REGISTER ONLINE to officially enter.
ENTRY LIMITATIONS: In the collegiate division, entries are unlimited. In the high school divisions, each team may send up to 9 runners to the line in the varsity divisions. The Junior Varsity, Freshman, and Middle School Divisions are unlimited. Team scoring will be invitational style with the places of the top five finishers for each team comprising the team score. Six and seven runners count as pushers, all others are taken out of team scoring but can receive individual medals. THERE IS NO NEED to designate your entries as varsity, JV or freshman. Just send them to the line for the correct race and the chips will take care of the rest!
JUNIOR HIGH/HIGH SCHOOL TEAMS: All junior high/middle schools must be MSHSAA sanctioned or be a MSHSAA affiliate member. If neither of these apply, that team need to run in the Open Race 4K.
High School Payment Information:
All Payments are due BEFORE the start of the meet! We have to be on payments. It is unfair to everyone who pays on time when teams wait six months or more to turn in their payment. COACHES - If your payment has not been received when you pick up your packet on race morning you will be asked to write a personal check in order for your team to be allowed to compete. If your school needs an invoice please email Joe Porter at email@example.com and he will send one promptly.
The meet entry fee is $150 per team or $250 for combined boy's and girl's teams. Each team may enter up to 9 runners in the varsity division. JV and Freshman races have unlimited entries. Any team with more than 35 total athletes (single sex) competing in the meet will pay an additional flat fee of $50.
REMEMBER that middle schools are considered separate teams. The Middle School rate is $80 per team or $120 for combined boys and girls teams. So if School "A" has a high school boys and girls team and a middle school boys and girls team they owe $370.

The meet entry fee is $75.00 per team, Men and Women are separate. Unattached athletes are welcomed to compete at $10.00 per individual. Please make all checks payable to Saint Louis University and pay upon arrival. If you have any questions please contact Jon Bell at firstname.lastname@example.org
The course will be the same as it was in 2012. We will have detailed course maps available in your race packets. Click HERE for the course map. The map shows the 2k loop, 1k loop, start and finish areas, mile markers and the team camp area. The 5k course will consist of a 2k loop + 1k loop + 2k loop. The 3K course will be the 2k loop + 1K loop. The course will be painted and ready to go on Friday, September 7th. Coaches please feel free to visit the course the week leading up to the race.
The top two teams in each race will receive plaques. The top 30 individuals in each race will receive medals.
The awards ceremony schedule is as follows:

2:05 pm - Freshman and Middle School
The festival will begin with an Open Race at 7:30am. The race is open to the public but serves as a great opportunity for coaches, parents or younger brothers and sisters to compete on the same course as the high school athletes. Medals will be presented to the top 30 finishers for men and women. Overall meet winners will receive a FREE pair of Brooks shoes.

T-Shirts, Concessions and other Ammenities:
This is a Festival! We will have a wide variety of food, snacks, and drinks including a full BBQ, Gus' Pretzels and Ted Drewes Frozen Custard at our concession stand. Big River Running Company and Brooks will be selling offical meet apparel on location. Meet apparel will be available Friday afternoon during course preview and collegiate races as well as on Saturday.
The Forest Park Cross Country Festival is excited to announce that this year's preferred hotel will be the Parkway Hotel located 1 mile from Forest Park. The hotel is offering complimentary bus parking (based on availability) and the $94 team rate includes a hot breakfast buffet in the morning. The Forest Park Cross Country Festival is a wonderful opportunity for your company to give back to the community as well as advertise to thousands of potential customers. The Forest Park Cross Country Festival is proud to call Forest Park home. Located in the center of Saint Louis, the park is home to several area landmarks including the St. Louis Science Center and the nationally-recognized St. Louis Zoo. The race course is located entirely on the Central Ball Fields. Coming from Highway 44 you enter the park from Hampton via the Hampton Ave. exit. Turn right on Wells Dr. and continue on Wells until you hit the fields. There is parking around the entire perimeter of the fields as well as on the nearby upper Muny parking lot. The Forest Park Cross Country Festival is always looking for volunteers who would like to serve as course marshals, packet pick-up crew, concession stand workers, etc. Interested in helping out? 2014 volunteer registration will be available in mid 2014.
Inclement Weather Policy:
The meet organizer's reserve the right to alter or cancel the meet due to inclement weather in the case that we deem conditions to be unsafe to compete or complete a given event. In general, the Forest Park Cross Country Festival will follow the MSHSAA weather policy (p. 27 and 30). In the case of lightning, we will delay the start of any event until 30 minutes after the last sighting of lightning. In the case of extreme heat, the event and remaining races will be canceled if the heat index reaches 105 degrees. The Forest Park Cross Country Destival committee will begin to alter race distances if the heat index reaches 95 degrees or we deem conditions to be unsafe to complete the advertised distance.
