The Big River Racing Team is open to everyone!

THE WHITE TEAM

White Team Members (so named because of their white jerseys) receive a VIP card for store discounts all year round. Team members also get their name and picture on the Racing Team website and when you run a PR; send it to us and we'll post it on the Web.

Mission Statement:
The Big River White Team is for runners of all shapes, sizes, and speeds! It is for those who love to run…and for those who love to hang out after a run. As much as it is a team it is also a club. A club of people who support Big River Running Company and support the Saint Louis running community as a whole.

Other team benefits include:
* Semi-Annual Team Nights just for you with special store discounts.
* Be a part of a team again.
* Meet new training partners.

And new for 2009:
* Age/Sex graded scoring system complete with annual winners!
* "Social" races with Big River White Team post-race parties

How to join:
* Purchase a Big River Singlet, Short Sleeve or Long Sleeve Top to Race in.
* Fill out a Personal Bio Sheet and you're on the Team!

What we ask of you:
* All we ask of white team members is that they wear the Big River Jersey each time they race and that they represent the ideals of the store which are to give back to the running community.
* All Team Members are encouraged but not required to attend our weekly group runs. They are a great way to feel a part of the team.

THE BLUE TEAM

The Big River Racing Team was formed to give competitive post-collegiate and masters runners an opportunity to be a part of a team again, to enjoy the camaraderie of a new group of training partners and to offer some financial help with buying all the shoes and apparel it takes to run thousands of miles. The Team had a great first year in 2006 highlighted by the mens ninth place finish at the US Club Cross Country Championships.

If you want to be a part of the team all you have to do is let us know. Send us an email at info@bigriverrunning.com or come by the store and talk to Ben or Matt about joining the squad. Team members receive sizable store discounts, are eligible to receive travel money for certain National Level Races and are eligible to receive cash bonuses based on winning local races and achieving certain qualifying times.

The following are standards set by Big River Running Company to be a part of the Big River BLUE Team:
