Julie Lossos Operations Manager

If you have been to our store anytime since September of 2007 you have probably met Julie. She was ranked as the 3rd nicest running store employee in the country last year. Okay, I just made that up but she would definitely be up there. She is super humble too but don't let her fool you. She's a great runner and has run 2:56 for the Marathon! So don't be afraid to ask her for tips on training while she is helping you find a great pair of shoes.

Veggie Lasagna...mmm...and fruit smoothies!

Who’s your idol?
My parents. They have always been my biggest supporters, and of course, I owe a great deal to them. I also have to mention my Grandma, because she has shown me that it's never too late to learn and experience new things, and she has always given so much love and attention to everyone involved in her life.

What was your favorite running moment?
I'd have to go with winning the St. Louis Marathon in 2001...I definitely did not expect a win, but it was an excellent feeling knowing that my efforts paid off and that my family and friends were there waiting for me at the finish line. Also, high school runs in the spring rain with my best friend.

What’s your guilty pleasure?
Anything dark chocolate, particularly dark chocolate-covered ginger.

Place you would most like to visit?
I love the mountains, so within the states, anywhere out west. I have yet to get out to the Pacific Northwest--Washington and Oregon are at the top of my list...Abroad, I'd love to backpack throughout Europe, and Australia and New Zealand are on the list, as well.
