2006 ALL-METRO HIGH SCHOOL CROSS COUNTRY TEAMS NAMED

For the 14th year the St. Louis Track Club will honor the All-Metro High School Cross Country Teams at the SLTC Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, February 17 at Orlando 's Banquet Center , 8352 Watson Road .

This year the panel of coaches again selected honorees for a first team, a second team as well as honorable mentions. Each honoree will receive a plaque commemorating their selection.

Among the 2006 first team members are five members of the 2005 first team: 4-time first team member McCluer North senior Mary Goldkamp; Missouri State Class 4 Boys Champion Kyle Rood, a senior at Ft. Zumwalt South; Missouri State Class 4 Boys Runner-up Dan Quigley, a senior at Christian Brothers; Marquette senior Hilary Orf; and Lutheran South Junior Adam Behnke.

The panel of coaches that selected the All-Metro Team were Christine Bugnitz , John Burroughs High School , Ken Finnerty , Kirkwood High School , Mark Miller , Eureka High School , Steve Miller , Francis Howell High School , Ira Price , Lebanon (IL) High School, Gaylerd Quigley , CBC High School and Dan Sebben , Webster Groves High School .
