Training Guide

Big River training guides are available to download (see menu to the left). There are schedules for the Marathon and Half Marathon for beginners, advanced runners and for walkers. There is also a schedule for people completely new to running who would like to be able to run a 5k and a 10k guide for those looking to bridge the gap between the 5k and the half marathon. The schedules were written and designed by Ben Rosario and incorporate the philosophies of his former coaches Keith and Kevin Hanson whose schedules have been featured in Running Times magazine.
