Allie, the youngest member of the racing team, had a great winter and Spring of racing culminating in a 5k track PR of 18:41 at the SIUE Twilight Meet. She will look to be on the line for Big River at the US Club Cross Country Championships this December.

Who's Better Superman or Batman: Superman, he has a cooler logo.

Fact or Fiction, the 80's rocked? I don't know, I lived a sheltered life. But we did have an Apple IIE computer to play Miss Pac Man on, that was pretty cool. I will vote “fact” based on that alone.

Short Term Goals: Finish the St. Pats 5 Miler, Get back into running after beating cancer.

Long Term Goals: Run FAST and come back stronger than ever! Beat Lance Armstrong's time in the Marathon . PRs in 10k, half, and the full marathon.

Interesting Fact About me: I whole heartedly believe that you run faster when you wear purple. Seriously, it is the fastest color in the spectrum.

Short Term Goal: Continue to race on the St. Louis circuit and hopefully get in shape to run well at Clubs later this fall.

Jen has been with us from the very start and has shown some good progress lately, having won the Hospital Hill 10k in Kansas City and finishing top 30 at the Steamboat Classic in Peoria, IL.

Margaret has enjoyed a great 2007 thus far. She won the "Battle of the Sexes" 2 mile in 10:25. She then went on to run 16:52 on the track for a huge 5k PR at the Saturn Midwest Distance Solution Meet in Hillsdale, MI. After some downtime, she is now running again and should be a top competitor for Big River at the US Club Cross Country Champs in December.

My nickname is Dish.  Long story short: When my older brother was little he could not pronounce my name (Meredith) and called me MereDish.  It stuck. I lived in Argentina for three weeks. I had a root canal when I was 2. My favorite holiday is Halloween!

 trails and dirt roads especially Lyndonville, VT and Winnekenni Park in Haverhill, MA.  I am still new to St. Louis so right now my favorite place to train around here is where ever I feel safe.

honey nut cheerios or rice crispies (it vaires on the month) but they both must have chopped banana in the bowl in order to complete the meal

  On my running mix it is probably a close call between eye of the tiger and ain't nothing gonna break my stride

Who's better Superman or Batman:
  Based on the portrayals in the most recent film adaptions I am going to go with Batman.  He is human, which makes him easier to relate to.  Anyone can be batman but how many people do you know from Krypton?

Fact or Fiction, the 80's rocked:
  I don't really remember them, but... I was born in the 80s, the Goonies and Stand by Me were 80s flicks, and who doesn't secretly love 80s music? So in conclusion, yes it is a fact that the 80's rocked.

Interesting Fact about me:
  I have raced in the same 3 pairs of socks (my lucky socks) in almost every race since I was 15 years old.  They are awesome, one pair has smiley faces, one has red flowers, and one has purple flowers.  Yes, I wash them, and no they don't have any holes. Yes, almost all of my bad races I didn't have them on.
