We offer several training and coaching options to choose from based on your fitness level and individual goals. Best of all, many of them are FREE! Our fun, non-intimidating, dynamic training programs will make it easier for you to achieve your fitness goals regardless of if you are contemplating running for the very first time or trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon.

Running is more fun and you’re often more motivated when you run with other people! Runners and walkers of all ages, paces and fitness levels are welcome at our weekly Monday Night Group Runs that meet all year long and our Pub Runs that take place every few months. Invite your neighbor. Bring your dog. Push a stroller. The more the merrier at our FREE group runs.
High School & Youth Running
Instill The Passion.
Big River’s knowledgeable staff provides high school and youth running customers with advice, personalized shoe fitting and the best selection of equipment needed for the sport of running. In addition, we host an annual summer educational running camps, we put on one of the premiere cross country meets in the midwest – the Forest Park Cross Country Festival each September, and we support the youth track club – St. Louis Blazers. Fostering the next generation runners is one of our passions!
